The project scope initiated with site/topographical surveys with field measurements to validate as built information provided to make sure levels & locations are exactly transferred for preparation of detailed shop drawings. The Major scope of work started with removal and disposal of existing interlock and kerbstone, cutting, removing and disposing existing asphalt, milling top 100mm asphalt to receive new layer. Damaged layer of asphalt was replaced with new 100mm thick asphalt (50mm asphalt binder and 50mm asphalt wearing course) and then final finishing done by application of thermoplastic road marking, parking bay lines, pedestrian crossing and directional arrows along with wheel stoppers. Lifting and lowering/raising of existing kerbs to install underground service chambers to match the levels were also handled along with Construction of new concrete footpaths, kerbs and road slab. Refurbishment and upgradation of street furniture matching existing designs were also executed out including minor concrete repairs to telecom manholes and storm water manholes which were replaced.
